50 wt SCANFIL Organic Cotton is made of Extra Long Staple Organic Pima cotton fiber grown without use of chemicals and pesticides. Dyed and coated with non-toxic solutions, mercerized, very low in lint, smooth and strong thread that will not shrink or bleed with washing. Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Certified. Biodegradable wooden spool is wound with 500 yards, fits standard sewing machine spindles.
