The Leica Monovid 8x25 is the perfect pocket optical tool. Use it for distant subjects or add the closeup accessory lens which enables focusing on objects as close as 10" for insects, flowers, or seashells. Field of view is 360' at 1000 yards.
Its optics have HDC multilayer coating on outer lenses, phase-corrected coating P40 and HighLux-Systems HLS prisms. This results in 90% light transmission. Focusing is internal. The aluminum housing is waterproof and nitrogen filled, and covered in black leather. The eyecups are twist-up with 2 click-stops.
